Welcome to Hortica the online Garden Centre with a difference. Our approach, and indeed, our guiding principle is that you should have nothing about you which you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful. We firmly believe that a garden should not only be a thing of beauty, but it should also feed the soul and even the stomach! We have put together a range of gardening tools which empower the gardener, inspire self-expression, permit greater attention to detail and allow the gardener to work with maximum respect for the environment.

Here is just a short selection of the fantastic gardening tools available for purchase through our secure store. We only stock items that conform to our belief in sustainable horticulture and organic growing. We are avid supporters of local suppliers and so many of the garden tools you'll see on our site are produced by independent workshops using traditional methods.

This tool is made by the forging company DeWit in Holland.  Made from high quality carbon steel to give you the best quality in gardening tools.

All the steel and wood that DeWit use for making tools is made in Western Europe. The wood comes from government controlled forrest.
